Villa Sar is only 5 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from the port of Souda. Guests can also find a great variety of restaurants markets etc only in 15 minutes from the maisonette. Villa Sar is close to the famous beach ”Seitan Limania” (only 15 minutes) and 5 minutes from the Kalatha & Stavros Beach where the famous film Zorbas the Greek took place.

Marathi and Loutraki beach is approx 10minutes far from the villa. Koukouvagia cafe with the famous ‘’Zoumero’’ sweet are also close. Venizelos Graves with most wonderfull view of all Chania is only 10 minutes away. You may find Kounoupidiana (center)full of shops,drugstores,hair salons,restaurants,and night life as well as a gas station in 10 minutes by car

For those content to spend their time on the two local beaches, car hire is not necessary. For exploring the island, however, and for access to the larger shops, car hire is recommended.
